+ The Role
As the Accounts and People Coordinator, you’ll play a key role for our US people through processing payroll, supporting the Financial Controller with all aspects of accounts, managing employee benefits, and supporting the recruitment and onboarding for our US teams.
+ What will I be delivering?
Accounts & Payroll:
Oversee General Ledger maintenance, perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reports with support from the Financial Controller
Work with the office administrator to record and reconcile accounts payable data.
Manage the semi-monthly payroll process including non-exempt timecard processing, prepare payroll reports, and administration of employee benefits.
HR & People:
Support the recruitment of US employees including sourcing, recruiting, screening candidates, preparing offer letters, and onboarding new hires.
Advise on local employment law issues.
Administering employee benefits and insurance programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements (401(k), healthcare, insurance, and annual census reporting) and making recommendations for competitive benefits for the US market.

+ What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
Demonstrated experience with payroll processing, employee benefits administration, state and federal payroll tax, and accounting practices.
Hands-on experience using payroll software (e.g., Paychex) with the ability to successfully learn and navigate new payroll systems as needed.
Strong understanding of local and governmental payroll regulations.
Employment law and regulations knowledge (knowledge of California and Massachusetts would be advantageous).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Teams).
Behavioral competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
