What is VPX?

VPX is a high-performance computer standard that leverages high-speed serial interconnects for faster data transfer speeds and increased processing power. As a successor to legacy VME, VPX cards deliver robust, high-speed performance, making them ideal for embedded computing systems in the military, aerospace and industrial sectors.  VPX has become the foundation of modern embedded computing systems – particularly in the military – emerging as the de-facto standard for rugged multiprocessor-based edge computing equipment.
