Concurrent is a leading designer and manufacturer of VME boards and VME modules for highly demanding applications.
Built for the rigours of defence, our Intel®-based VME processor boards offer long-lasting performance and cost-efficiency. These high-performance boards are complemented by switch fabric boards, XMC and PMC carriers, and mass storage modules.
Concurrent offers the perfect blend of reliability and innovation.
We continue to be at the forefront of 6U VME technology, developing the latest VME CPU solutions to ensure customers can still operate and maintain mission-critical legacy systems across defence, aerospace and industrial sectors.
VME (or Versa Module Eurocard) is a legacy parallel bus standard first introduced in the 1980s and, despite being superseded by newer standards such as VPX, is still used in sectors such as defence and aerospace owing to its high reliability.
VME board size is a 6U form factor, and this bus architecture provides sufficient capabilities for many test, control and I/O-centric applications.
Unmatched legacy experience: With decades of experience, we continue to actively design and build new VME boards for specialist customer requirements.
Backwards compatibility: Our VME boards are backwards compatible with legacy systems, allowing customers to extend the lifecycles of critical systems.
Long-term support: We continue to invest in VME technology, unlike other suppliers, which provides long-term peace of mind for our customers.
Ruggedised for tough environments: Our VME boards are highly reliable in demanding conditions, especially those destined for defence and aerospace applications.
