Quality from design to delivery
Our commitment to quality starts with our people. Everyone at Concurrent is empowered to take ownership of their work, helping us maintain consistently high standards while continuously improving the products, processes and service we provide.
We follow rigorous, proven processes throughout product development and manufacture, from initial design and component selection through to assembly, inspection and final qualification.
Every product is tested against clearly defined specifications to give our customers confidence that it will perform reliably in demanding real-world environments. Our testing includes functional evaluation and active temperature cycling, alongside the controls and checks required throughout the manufacturing process.
Quality is also embedded within our supply chain. We work closely with trusted suppliers, maintain robust traceability and counterfeit-part prevention processes, and operate in line with internationally recognised quality standards.
Regular audits and continuous improvement activity help us maintain these standards and identify opportunities to make our processes even stronger.

AS9100-certified quality management
Concurrent operates AS9100-certified quality management systems across our Colchester (UK), Theale (UK) and Los Angeles (US) facilities.
AS9100 is the internationally recognised quality management standard for the aviation, space and defence industries. Certification provides independent assurance that our processes meet the rigorous requirements expected across these highly regulated and mission-critical markets.
Our certifications support our ability to design, manufacture and deliver trusted technology from both the UK and USA.
Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR)
Concurrent is also accredited through the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR), a supplier assurance system used across the defence, aerospace and security sectors.
JOSCAR provides organisations including major prime contractors and government bodies with a consistent way to assess suppliers against a broad range of requirements.
Our accreditation follows detailed assessment across areas including quality assurance, product safety, counterfeit-material controls, health and safety, environmental management, business continuity, information security and ethical business practices.
For our customers, JOSCAR provides further confidence that Concurrent operates to the standards expected of a trusted partner within complex defence and aerospace supply chains.
