The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), we are seeking a highly motivated Financial Controller to join our UK team to support our Products Business at this time of significant and exciting growth!

What will I be delivering?

The Financial Controller will play a fundamental role as the business accountant across the Products business, enabling strong decision making and performance. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-         Financial management: aiding the business in making the right decisions to enhance the financial management. This will result in maximising the performance both in terms of profit, cash and balance sheet investments

-         Financial & Management reporting: This is a key element to the role, providing excellent data, information and advice to support the right decisions being made is vital to this business.

-         Risk management and compliance: Identify and assess financial risks; ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws; support the preparation of accurate financial statements and tax returns; support internal and external audits.

-         Financial strategy: Provide strategic financial guidance to support business objectives; evaluate and advise on investments and financial opportunities.

-         The role will include working closely with the CFO and UK-based Finance team, as well as the Products Business team.

What do I need to bring with me?

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

·        A strong financial background, including IFRS technical ability, P&L /Cash management, and a good understanding for advising on investments

·        Excellent reporting/modelling skills.

·        Interpersonal skills

Technical skills and qualifications

·        Professional Accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA. 

·        Proficient in financial software and tools, and advanced Excel skills.

Behavioral competencies

·        Strong attention to detail and good analytic skills.

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to distil and communicate complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
