Introduction

Concurrent Technologies Plc (Concurrent) firmly believe that wherever we operate, whomever we interface with (be that employees, customers, communities, stakeholders or suppliers), those interactions must be conducted with integrity and respect. This is a fundamental pillar of Concurrent’s culture.

We recognise the responsibility that places upon us to recognises that it has a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking, and we are fully supportive of the elimination of modern slavery in all its forms. We are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities, and to ensuring that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

As a manufacturer of leading-edge technology and given the often regulated nature of the sectors we serve, it is our assessment that the exposure to risk of there being human rights abuses within our business, and that of our supply chain is low, however, during this financial year Concurrent has taken steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any of our supply chains or any parts of our own business. We are committed to the steps we have taken to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement sets out the actions we have taken to ensure our supply chain and our organisation is free from slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our organisation’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.

Structure, business, and supply chain

Concurrent are a designer and manufacturer of leading-edge computer products, systems and mission critical solutions used in high-performance markets by some of the world's major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, with subsidiary entities in the United States, Concurrent supplies our products and solutions worldwide, for customers in the Defence, Aerospace, Medical, Communications, Transportation, Industrial and Scientific sectors.

As a designer and manufacturer of finished products, we rely upon our supply chain to provide the precision componentry and supplies required to deliver our leading-edge products, systems and solutions to our customers. Given the specialised nature of our products, and the rigorous requirements of our customers, a significant part of our supply chain is sourced from OEM suppliers or vendors, and in addition to these OEM engagements, our procurement and supply chain function manage purchases and supplies from the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Currently we have around 138 active suppliers within our supply chain, and while we source globally, the vast majority of our supplies are sourced from UK entities.
