The Role
Our People Generalist acts as the primary business partner across the US for our Woburn and Los Angeles sites whilst providing expertise on people related issues such as recruitment, training, communication, and succession planning. It ensures that the People function is viewed as a full business partner tied to business initiatives within the wider organization.
The US has ambitious and exciting growth trajectory so this role is for someone who would like to grow with the organisation.
What will I be delivering?
Serves as a strategic business partner to the US to translate business goals and objectives into well aligned People strategy that attracts, develops, motivates and retains top talent and is underpinned by our vision, ambition and culture.
Engages and influences leaders in strategic discussions, challenges current thinking, influences outcomes and leads change in behaviors.
Develops strong relationships and partners with business leaders, managers and People team.
Ensure that leadership and management have the right information to make strategic people decisions specifically in terms of hiring and development.
Strong understanding of state and federal Laws and compliance requirements.
Leads and/or manages courageously during organizational change; takes appropriate risks, energizes, and encourages others to do so to achieve company goals and priorities.
Tracks and reports information designed to measure and predict people outcomes.
Evaluates the efficiency, effectiveness and value add of various People tools and programs and implements changes where necessary.
Coaching line managers on ways to motivate their employees and lead more effectively.
Proactively supports the communication and implementation of key business initiatives.
Implementation of people policies, procedures, and programs.
Working with the central People Operations team to ensure there is a competitive benefits package for the organisation.
Working with the Accounts and People Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the administrative function.

What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
Strong understanding of people best practices and employment laws.
Experience in developing and executing people strategy. (desired)
Practice of embedding practices that drive people and performance excellence.
Technical skills and qualifications
SHRM accreditation (SHRM-SCP desirable), or a degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Business-related subject or relevant operational on the job experience.
Behavioral competencies
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
