Concurrent Technologies Attends The 5% Club Awards Ceremony

On the 29th of November 2023, Victoria Middleton (People Director) and Miles Adcock (CEO) were excited and privileged to receive Gold accreditation from The 5% Club at their annual awards ceremony. Concurrent Technologies first participated in The 5% Club in 2022, where we were awarded Silver, so we are extremely proud of achieving Gold in just a year. The 5% Club is a movement of employers that are set on creating momentum behind the recruitment of apprentices and graduates into the workforce to help tackle the UK’s skills shortages and invest in the next generation. The 5% Club’s mission is to have at least 5% of employees in formal training programmes at work. Our Gold accreditation demonstrates our commitment to 'Earn & Learn' schemes to maximise the potential of our people confirming we now have over 5% of our workforce in these schemes. The awards ceremony took place at the stunning Mansion House in London with over 340 people in attendance and was hosted by Leo Quinn, The 5% Club founder and Group CEO of Balfour Beatty plc. Robert Halfon MP (Minister for Skills, Apprenticeships and Higher Education) delivered the keynote address commenting:

“It is impressive to see so many employers recognised by the 5% Club’s Employer Audit scheme. These are great businesses investing in future talent and extending the ladder of opportunity to more and more people by enabling them to earn and learn at the same time. I commend all The Club’s Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze members for their inspired action, which is so essential to our national prosperity, giving businesses the skills, they need to grow and offering people the opportunity to get in-demand skills and thrive".
