Concurrent is a leader in the design and manufacture of XMC (Switched Mezzanine Card) modules for embedded and rugged applications. These modules are an effective and proven way to boost functionality in modular, open standards-based systems.

What is an XMC?

XMC is a mezzanine card standard – defined under VITA-42 – which upgrades a PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) with high-speed serial fabric support. XMC leverages high-speed serial interconnects enabling higher bandwidth and greater signal integrity in harsh environments. 

About the size of an iPhone®, XMC modules slot into host or carrier boards (such as VPX, CompactPCI, VME), enabling flexibility and customisation to tailor your setup with just the right features for your needs.
