Turn increasing volumes of sensor data into actionable intelligence

military drone

Modern airborne, maritime, and ground-based ISR platforms collect vast volumes of high-definition video, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), hyperspectral, and Signals Intelligence SIGINT data. Moving and exploiting this information in real time requires server-class compute density and multi-gigabit network throughput, all packaged within tight platform SWaP-C constraints.

Relying on constrained RF downlinks to send raw data back to base introduces severe delays. Mission success requires processing and exploiting sensor streams locally, right at the tactical edge.

Concurrent delivers high-performance 3U VPX computing architectures that combine Intel® Xeon® 6 server-grade processing, high-speed 100GbE switching, and adaptive AMD Versal® FPGA acceleration. Aligned with the SOSA® Technical Standard, our modular systems provide the bandwidth, security, and processing power required to deploy advanced multi-sensor exploitation quickly and reliably.

Built for high-throughput sensor processing

ISR operations depend on the ability to ingest, route, and analyse massive data streams from complex sensor suites rapidly enough to support automated target tracking, onboard analytics, and immediate tactical decision-making.

Our rugged systems and architectures enable:

  • High-throughput sensor and mission data processing directly on board the platform

  • High-speed optical integration across wideband radar, electro-optical, and infrared sensor payloads

  • AI-enabled sensor exploitation and automated target recognition (ATR) to reduce analyst workload

  • Secure Red/Black network separation across shared high-speed switching hardware

  • Adaptive FPGA acceleration for high-rate digital signal processing and front-end sensor filtering

  • SOSA® aligned modularity that simplifies cross-fleet deployment and future capability insertions

New Wave V6061

New wave Design V6065

High-bandwidth optical I/O and FPGA acceleration 3U VPX module for sensor ingest, pre-processing, and data distribution at the edge.AMD Versal® Premium Adaptive SoC with FPGA fabric, ARM cores, and XMC expansion.

A high-performance architecture for ISR

Combining Kratos, IRIS, and the New Wave Design V6065 creates a high-performance 3U VPX architecture engineered to ingest, route, and exploit massive volumes of sensor data at the edge.

The V6065 integrates AMD Versal® Premium adaptive SoC technology with up to 300G of optical I/O and XMC expansion, delivering the FPGA acceleration needed for front-end sensor filtering and wideband digital signal processing. IRIS provides 10G, 40G, and 100G Ethernet switching across a dual-enclave architecture, routing massive data streams between payloads while maintaining hardware-enforced Red/Black network security separation. Handling the exploitation layer, Kratos delivers Intel® Xeon® 6 server-grade compute, 256GB DRAM, and PCIe Gen 5 connectivity to run intensive onboard analytics and automated target tracking without latency bottlenecks.

Together, these building blocks provide a high-bandwidth, open-systems pipeline from optical sensor ingest to server-grade compute, helping defence programmes turn raw sensor streams into actionable edge intelligence while maintaining strict SWaP-C and schedule control.
