International Women’s Day 2026: Celebrating the Women of Concurrent

Giving voice to the Women of Concurrent

International Women’s Day is a moment to recognise the people helping shape the future of technology and innovation.

At Concurrent, women contribute across every part of the business: from engineering and project delivery to sales, leadership, and operations. Their work helps keep programs moving, customers supported, and teams aligned across continents.

This year, we’re highlighting three colleagues whose work reflects the collaboration, problem-solving, and dedication that define our teams.

Astrid Igot, Internal Sales Manager, UK

“Don’t be afraid to ask questions and reach out for help.”

That’s Astrid’s advice to anyone starting out in the industry — and it reflects the collaborative culture she’s experienced throughout her time at Concurrent.

Astrid moved into her current role as Internal Sales Manager after working in product marketing. Today she plays a key role in keeping information flowing across teams and helping manage the company’s sales pipeline.

Although much of the work isn’t customer-facing, her role is critical in connecting remote Sales Managers with the wider business to ensure orders stay on track.

“My role is mostly to bridge the gap between the remote Sales Managers and the rest of the company, ensuring things run as smoothly as possible.”

It’s a role that demands flexibility and coordination, and one that rarely looks the same from day to day.

“My tasks are very diverse — every day is quite different. That’s also what I like most about my job. I never have time to get bored.”

When reflecting on the people who helped her most in her career, Astrid points to the impact of mentorship.

“The first person who comes to mind is Nigel Forrester [our Director of Product Strategy]. He was my manager when I first started with Concurrent and taught me a lot. Even though I no longer report to him, I still reach out for advice frequently.”

For Astrid, curiosity and openness to learning are essential for anyone entering the industry.

“This industry is quite niche and there are a lot of things you won’t know at first — and that’s absolutely normal. We’re lucky at Concurrent to have very knowledgeable and helpful people who are always willing to help if you just ask.”

Autumn Tiger, Internal Sales Manager, US

“People often don’t realise the amount of coordination and pressure involved in Inside Sales.”

For Autumn, supporting customers means balancing speed, accuracy, and communication across multiple teams.

As the Internal Sales Manager for the US West territory, she prepares and tracks quotes, responds to leads, and manages the sales pipeline while coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure customers receive the solutions they need on time.

It’s a fast-paced role where responsiveness can make a real difference.

“My goal is always to provide timely responses while looking out for the customer’s best interest.”

Behind every quote or order is a significant amount of collaboration across the organisation, from gathering technical information to aligning schedules and delivery timelines.

For Autumn, the most rewarding days are when everything comes together smoothly.

“A good day for me is when I’m able to provide quality same-day customer support, with the best outcome being orders placed the same day quotes are sent.”

Kate Lomas Gutierrez, Project Manager, US

“My role is to keep projects moving forward by aligning teams, resources, and priorities across the business.”

Kate’s role sits at the centre of Concurrent’s Systems business, where coordination across engineering, production, suppliers, and leadership is essential to keeping programs on track.

Having progressed from Project Coordinator to Project Manager, Kate now owns project delivery for systems programs, ensuring teams remain aligned on schedules, resources, and customer expectations.

Much of the work involves analysing complex factors and understanding how decisions in one area can impact multiple programs across the organisation.

“I conduct analysis and make project decisions based on factors such as cost, budget, schedule, resources, customer alignment, and risks.”

For Kate, success comes when projects progress smoothly and teams stay connected.

“A good day in my role usually means steady progress on projects and efficient communication within our team.”

She also credits the support of colleagues across the organisation for helping her grow in the role.

“I take pride in the growth I’ve achieved in my Project Manager role, but I also know it wouldn’t be possible without the help and contribution of our entire Los Angeles Systems team.”

Supporting Women Across Concurrent

The experiences of Astrid, Autumn, and Kate highlight the many ways women contribute across Concurrent — from supporting customers and coordinating teams to delivering complex engineering programs.

We’re proud to have women represented across the business, including on the Board and Executive Committee, as well as in leadership roles throughout the organisation.

On International Women’s Day — and every day — we recognise the contributions of the women helping shape the future of Concurrent.
