If your land programme needs more processing, networking or mission capability at the edge, Concurrent can provide the rugged compute platform your wider solution depends on. We combine proven rugged systems expertise with high-performance embedded computing, significant UK design and manufacturing capability and AS9100-certified operations – giving programme teams a trusted partner for current and future land platforms.
Join us at DVD2026, 16–17 September, on stand C3-K07 at UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground to explore how we could support your current or upcoming programme.

Rugged systems are an established part of Concurrent’s capability. Our acquisition of Phillips Aerospace in 2023 brought long-standing rugged systems expertise into the business, complementing our established embedded computing portfolio.
Today, we can support programmes with rugged compute, networking, timing and I/O technologies for demanding land environments, alongside technologies that support secure processing, including Secure Enclave, Root of Trust and Post-Quantum Cryptography.
Our Colchester, Essex and Theale, Berkshire operations are AS9100 certified, alongside our certified operation in Los Angeles.
We also have significant UK design and manufacturing capability. Our embedded computing boards are designed and manufactured in the UK, while our wider systems portfolio draws on established operations in both the UK and US.
Our Cronos system is a key example of that capability. Designed and built in the UK for MIPS, it demonstrates our ability to deliver a rugged compute system from our UK operation where programme requirements call for it.
We work alongside programme teams, prime contractors, vehicle manufacturers and system integrators to understand what the platform needs to achieve, and provide the underlying compute and networking technology expertise to help make it possible.
At DVD2026, we’ll be discussing three key areas:
Mission compute for land platforms – rugged, high-performance processing for applications including situational awareness, electronic warfare, vehicle protection, C-UAS/C-IED and command and control.
Mission networking – reliable, deterministic data movement from 1G to 100G Ethernet, including TSN, fibre and copper connectivity, and low-latency networking.
Future-ready architectures – compute, secure processing, networking, timing and thermal technologies designed to support capability upgrades throughout long platform lifecycles.
On the stand, you’ll be able to see key examples including Cronos, Hornet, Hermod II, Hermes II and Kratos, alongside further rugged computing technologies.
Whether you’re defining a new platform, adding capability to an existing one or planning its next technology refresh, come and talk to us about what your programme needs next.
