Concurrent Achieves AS9100 Certification in the UK
February 2026
Concurrent, a designer and manufacturer of leading-edge computer products, systems and mission-critical solutions for high-performance markets, announces the appointment of Jon Jayal as Managing Director of Products, effective 16 March 2026.
Jon joins Concurrent from Nexteq plc, a multinational computer technology business, where he served as Chief Executive Officer until August 2024. Jon was one of the key members of the design engineering team that developed Nexteq’s first product, having started his career in electronic engineering.
Jon went on to broaden his experience in the financial services sector, holding roles as an investment consultant at Mercer and a strategic account manager at BlackRock. Ahead of Nexteq’s flotation in 2013, Jon rejoined the business as General Manager. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in March 2018, he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
During his tenure in senior leadership, Nexteq grew revenues to over $100 million, completed multiple acquisitions, expanded into new markets and successfully launched several new products.
Dr Miles Adcock, CEO of Concurrent, said:
“Jon brings a wealth of experience specific to products similar to ours, with a strong track record of scaling, entering new markets and driving growth. We are pleased to welcome him to Concurrent at an exciting time for the business. This is the latest senior leadership appointment as we continue to scale the business. I look forward to working with Jon in the years to come.”
